To support the implementation of the Central Otago Destination Management Plan the existing Tourism Advisory Board unanimously agreed that a new governance structure and focus was appropriate.
A new Destination Advisory Board will consist of:-
- 4 appointed roles (confirmed)
- CODC Elected Member (confirmed)
- Kāi Tahu Representative
- Tourism business owner/manager
- Youth Representative (18-30)
We now invite anyone interested in the Tourism Operator and Youth Representative (18-30 years old) positions on the Destination Advisory Board to review the Terms of Reference and email their interest including a cover letter to tourism@codc.govt.nz by 5pm Friday 2nd December.
If the interest in the roles exceed the available positions we will run an email ballot through our Operator Database in early December.
Please email us with your suggestions or for more information.
