Our Climate

In Central Otago we have distinct seasons from some of the hottest temperatures in New Zealand over summer to the coolest in Winter. These seasonal variations play an important role in growing our produce and providing a perfect playground for a range of recreational activities.

Regardless of season our climate is characterised by the lowest rainfall in New Zealand, low humidity, a good amount sunshine hours and consistent weather systems.
